Folding Pocket Saw
I wanted to solve a practical problem with my entry into this competition. I also wanted to take advantage of the material properties of one of the flexible plastics used in rapid prototyping. These reasons guided me to my design, the folding pocket saw.
Breathable Roots
This is a planter that one could hang on the wall. Once the plant is positioned, its roots receive oxygen from the tunnels created by the interconnectedness of the skin’s membrane. A smaller piece can be detached from the bottom, which collects the excess water.

Facet Furniture combines 3D printed connectors with common building materials, such as wood dowels. The product range includes chairs, tables, storage units and lamps. Users can change a number of parameters to customize the furniture and adapt the connectors to the materials they want to use.
